Ahoy, My Spicy Wings. After cooking tomato sauce and caramelizing onions for a catering event, I moseyed on over to Saveur Magazine’s First Annual BBQ. I wasn’t sure what to expect on a docked boat full of foodies and celebrity chefs but here’s what I saw, ate, photographed, enjoyed. It’s like you’re there, only you don’t have to leave your seat.

Saveur’s BBQ included a world of small bites including clam appetizers from Wiley Dufresne of WD-50, jerk chicken wings from Hunter Lewis, Saveur’s Test Kitchen Director, and grilled squid salad from Peter Hoffman of Savoy. The food was finger-lickin’ (nope, I’m not bias because of my tableware column). Taste the Bar-B for yourself and let me know if you salivate.
