Cocktail Party Countdown: 3:00 PM Mango Bellini Recipe with Grilled Mango
Bonjour, Bubblies. Join the cocktail party! 1 imaginative grilled fruit mixed drink will make a splash debut every hour starting at noon and ending with a saucy cocktail party at 6 PM. Enjoy the cocktail countdown and order your mixed drink in comments.
1. Fill a champagne flute one-third full with mango juice. Top with champagne and stir gently. Garnish with a slice of mango.
Sweet Grilled Mango
2 ripe mangoes, skin on, sliced 2-inches thick
4 Tbsp. granulated sugar
6 skewers, soaked in water
1. Brush the grill with oil and set it to high heat.
2. Evenly sprinkle sugar on the each side of the mango. Place the mangoes on skewers.
3. Once the grill is warm, place the mangoes on the grill. Grill the mango until grill marks begin to show, about 2 minute per side. Remove skin when adding to a mixed drink.
To make grilled mango puree. Add 1/2 cup of sugar to 1/2 cup of boiling water, remove from heat and stir until sugar dissolves. Let cool. Grill mangoes until very soft and add to a food processor with sugar syrup, blend until smooth.
